Closer to home, Fall Fun for All takes place on September 18 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the pavilion at Morgan Falls Overlook Park, a park so close to Wesley St. James that it barely counts as a drive. The free, inclusive community event includes carnival games, prizes, and light refreshments, with registration requested in advance. The month wraps up with the Blue Stone Arts and Music Festival<\/a> on September 25 and 26 in downtown Sandy Springs, where four city blocks fill with music stages, artist booths, and a road race for anyone who wants to earn their festival food. For a night at the theater, Dog Man the Musical takes the stage at City Springs on October 11, bringing the popular children's book series to life for families in the audience.<\/span><\/p>\n

As the weather turns cooler, the Sandy Springs Farmers Market keeps going every Saturday through November 22, making it easy to build a fall routine without leaving the neighborhood. November 11 brings a Veterans Day Tribute at Byers Theatre, honoring local service members with guest speakers including Navy pilots. As the month moves toward the holidays, Byers Theatre fills its calendar with concerts and shows nearly every weekend, including A Magical Cirque Christmas on November 21 and Rain, a Beatles inspired Christmas tribute, on November 23, both good previews of the holiday season still to come.<\/span><\/p>\n
